Is it just me, or was PSY treated like
shiton Ellen? He was just mentioned as being some kind of internet joke, a guy who does a silly little dance when in fact he has been a huge artist in South Korea for many years and has a lot of talent. He had to stop Ellen and introduce himself and where he was from, because nobody was actually polite enough to do it for him. I felt really embarrassed for him.Britney seemed to think he was just some random weirdo foreigner. And Simon Cowell wouldn’t even get up and dance or properly acknowledge him, which I think is pretty disrespectful
this^
My mom almost said that exactly. How he had to ask to introduce himself.
^^^^^^ EXACTLY.
All of the things I’ve been saying. So many K-Pop fans are cheering about how K-Pop is taking over the world because of Gangnam Style. No. The US was not interested in Psy or his musical abilities. They only cared about the ridiculous video and silly dance. I mean that the guy had to ask to introduce himself to the audience says everything.
I live in a perpetual state of disappointment when it comes to this matter.
Amen…this is why America as a whole should just stop and leave K-pop alone…
